Born and raised in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Marva is a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She is a graduate of Oklahoma Wesleyan University and holds a MBA, Human Resources. Marva the Publisher of Black Link Magazine, a nationwide publication that focuses on entertainment, culture, empowerment, and entrepreneurs.
Marva is a true believer in her spirituality and giving back to her community. Her passion is helping others. She is the founder of Rise Queen, an annual empowerment conference that consists of encouraging individuals to become their best. She also believes in being intentional about self-care and taking time for self so that she can be good for others.
